My Little Explorer & Me (18 MONTHS TO 3 YEARS)
Our My Little Explorer & Me program is a special parent-and-child class designed for toddlers to explore the world around them in a fun, interactive, and developmentally appropriate setting. This class offers a perfect opportunity for parents, grandparents, or caregivers to bond with their little ones while engaging in hands-on learning activities that stimulate sensory development, social skills, and early learning. Each session includes music, movement, crafts, sensory play, and story time, all crafted to meet the needs of growing toddlers. Join us as we embark on an exciting journey of discovery, creating special memories and setting the foundation for future learning!
Tuition: $95 a month for one class a week
Class Times:
Tuesday's 8:45 am to 10:15 am or Saturday's from 9:00 am to 10:30 am

Young Preschool (30 Months to 3 Years)
At Little Explorer’s Preschool, our Young Preschool Program offers a safe, nurturing space where toddlers can begin their educational journey. This play-based program focuses on social-emotional development, early literacy, and building independence. Through engaging activities, children gain important skills that set the foundation for future learning.
What Your Child Will Experience:
-Exploration Through Play: Sensory activities, creative art projects, and interactive games help build motor skills and foster creativity.
-Building Social Skills: Children will learn essential skills such as taking turns, following directions, and sharing with others in a supportive environment.
-Introduction to Early Concepts: Your child will be introduced to colors, shapes, numbers, and letters in ways that are fun and engaging.
Our goal is to create a positive, energetic environment where your child feels excited and supported in their learning journey.
Tuition: $255/month
Class Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:30 AM – 11:25 AM or 12:00 PM – 2:55 PM
Preschool (3 to 4 Years)
The Preschool Program at Little Explorer’s Preschool is designed for children who are turning 4 within the school year. Our program combines structured learning with play to ensure that each child is ready for the next steps in their educational journey. This class emphasizes building academic skills while fostering social-emotional growth.
What Your Child Will Experience:
-Building Foundations for Learning: Children will practice number recognition, letter sounds, and begin exploring early math and science concepts.
-Developing Social Skills: The focus is on working together, problem-solving, and building friendships, helping children gain confidence in group settings.
-Creative Play: Art, music, storytelling, and movement activities encourage creative expression and critical thinking.
Our program ensures that children are ready for the academic and social demands of Pre-K, all while keeping the learning fun and engaging.
Tuition: $375/month
Class Times: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 8:30 AM – 11:25 AM or 12:00 PM – 2:55 PM
Pre-K (4 to 5 Years)
Our Pre-K Program is designed for children ages 4 to 5 and provides a strong foundation for success in kindergarten and beyond. The curriculum is more structured, focusing on school readiness while still encouraging creativity and exploration. Through our HighScope Curriculum, children develop the skills they need to thrive both academically and socially.
What Your Child Will Experience:
-Focused Academic Learning: Early literacy, math, and science concepts are taught through hands-on activities to ensure your child is kindergarten-ready.
-Social-Emotional Growth: Children practice problem-solving, conflict resolution, and leadership skills, which helps them navigate social interactions with ease.
-Hands-On Exploration: The classroom is filled with art, science experiments, and engaging activities that keep your child excited to learn.
This program prepares children for the academic challenges of kindergarten, while maintaining a fun and explorative learning environment.

Class Times: Monday – Friday 12:00 PM – 2:55 PM

WHO ARE WE?
Hi! I'm Michelle Tatarly, the proud founder and owner of Little Explorer's Preschool. With over twenty years of experience in early childhood education, I've always been passionate about creating nurturing, creative, and enriching environments where children can thrive. I started this preschool to focus on what matters most to me—encouraging social-emotional development, fostering curiosity, and supporting children through play-based learning. My goal has always been to create a space where kids can learn organically, without the pressure of too much documentation, allowing them to explore and grow in their own unique ways.
As a mom and teacher, I know firsthand how important it is to create an environment that feels like home, where children feel safe and inspired to discover the world around them. Starting Little Explorer's has been a dream of mine for years, and I am so excited to see this community of families come together. I truly believe in the power of play and how impactful it is on a child's development, and I’m committed to ensuring every child who walks through our doors feels seen, heard, and loved.
